Once again it has been some time since I made a post. This has been because of a mid week break before Easter, family activities over Easter and the warm weather since Easter creating an impossible to resist demand from my wife for working in the garden. Not only has this resulted in a shortage of blogging time but even a shortage of modelling time. I guess this state of affairs will continue throughout the summer.
However I have managed a little "play" time and this has resulted in completion of the batch of ammunition wagons and the Field Police battalion. The batch of GS wagons have now been built and are ready to be painted. The Infantry battalion is still being painted. I have also made a very early start on construction of a Cavalry Brigade Command battalion.
I have a couple of draft posts prepared detailing the organisation of Heavy Weapons battalions and Quartermaster Transport battalions. I will try to complete these articles and get them published shortly.
As usual, if you read this please leave a comment, good bad or otherwise, I am very interested to hear the views of others on my hobby.

Although I do not think there are any regular visitors to this blog, in case I am wrong, I will apologise that I never got round to providing an update last week. I did manage to get some modelling time but not blogging time. However I can now give my update.
The batch of light GS trailers have been completed and issued. The painting of the ammunition wagons is proceeding well. In addition the Heavy Weapons battalion has been finished and painting of the Field Police battalion is almost done. I have made an initial start, today in fact, on another batch of GS wagons and have also commenced the penultimate Infantry battalion.
As previous visitors may recall I have already built two armies and the third one is the one I am currently working on. To that end I have just counted up on my production schedules and find I have so far constructed for this army alone some 784 two wheeled and 692 four wheeled vehicles and 172 guns of one sort or another. Of course I have also painted around 13,000 screw soldiers too. I am getting rather close to completing the army and will in a few months time have to move onto executing the numerous revisions I have planned. As mentioned before I have no more wall space for another display unit although I do have a vague idea for fitting in another, however I will need approval from my wife , which I am rather doubtful of obtaining. Still there is time yet to get her to agree before I am done.
